This isn't the same as a dedicated school Video, but we could get a similar result with two days instead of one.

Hybrid FAQ

What's a Hybrid Day?

  • It's run exactly like a normal photography shoot, except I swap between photography & video as we go. There is a little more pre-production planning, but I will talk you through it all as we go.
  • You will get:
  • 300 still images in an online gallery. (Less than just a Photography Day)
  • 1 x 1m30s whole school video, with music & an optional voiceover.
  • 2 x 15 seconds social media reels for your channels.
  • It's a super efficient way to create a range of marketing content from a single day.
  • The style of the video is like my photography. Made of candid, authentic moments shot in a documentary style. It's not as cinematic or as styled as a full Video.

Hybrid Day vs Photography Day?

  • I carry and use two cameras, rather than one.
  • We will need to set aside 30 minutes at the end of the day to record a voiceover. (I will write a full draft script for this, for you)
  • It is helpful to grab 20 minutes at some point during the day, to film two younger students arriving, and two older students leaving.

Hybrid Day vs Video Day:

  • A Hybrid day isn't a replacement for a multi-day, dedicated video shoot.
  • If you are a large school, or have a lot of activities to cover, you should consider a Video Shoot or two Hybrid days so we can cover everything properly.
