School Films
Below is a small selection of videos that I have worked on, which vary from the highlight reel to interview-led messaging. Films can take anything from a single day to a week to shoot, depending on how much content you would like to include and cover. Usually, I would aim to deliver a 2-3 minute video from a single day, with better and more varied content from a shoot with more days. The first video was shot over 2 days.
Making a School Film
School films are really fun projects & I thoroughly enjoy making each one of them. The key to a successful shoot & final film is in the planning. If you're thinking about making one then get in touch as early as you can & we can begin discussing this together in advance. If you'd like to take the first step... get in contact here.
I shoot two types of Video, depending on your budget or messaging priorities.
One-Day Shoot - Reportage Film Project
- Similar in shooting style to photography, I will work quickly around the school to cover lots of subjects, in a candid way.
- Full coverage of a day at your school, edited into a 2-3 minute video, set to music.
- 2 x 20-second social media reels, cut from the main video.
- Shot in 4k 60p, delivered in 1080p.

Two-Day Shoot - Bespoke Film Project
- Story and key-message-led films, set to a scripted voiceover & music.
- Each scene is a carefully crafted reflection of a message that your school has.
- 2-3 minute video, including special effects (moving text reveals, sky replacements, scene retouching, colour grading)
- 4 x 10-second social media reels, made up from the scenes in the main video.
- This includes extensive pre & post-production work, both in the collaborative planning of the film & editing time afterwards.
- Shot in 8K 60p RAW Video, delivered in 4K 30p (extra-super-beautiful, cinematic quality looking)
